This class is recommended every three years for those that have successfully completed the initial Powered Industrial Truck Train-the-Trainer class. Changes to PIT standards will be shared with you, along with a review of applicable standard interpretations and training tools. You will have the opportunity to discuss challenges or questions you may have encountered within your organization’s training program.

New FORWARD Program Creates Affordable Pathway to a Career in Education

There’s a demand for teachers and paraprofessionals in our community—and future students can be part of the solution. Lakeshore College and the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay have teamed up to offer the FORWARD program, a new and affordable way for Sheboygan-area students to earn a four-year education degree close to home. The program also aims to create a pipeline to fill the more than 100 jobs that are open annually within the district.

Overcoming the well-known shortage of nurses all around us is a challenge. A new program developed through a collaboration between Lakeshore College and the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay helps address the shortage of Registered Nurses (RNs) in the Sheboygan area. Students may begin enrolling now in the FORWARD program for fall.
